Per usual, tonight’s debate in South Carolina was heavily biased toward the establishment candidates, while Ron Paul was largely ignored. Ron Paul always handles these situations with a combination of articulation and humility. But at the Southern Republican Presidential Debate in South Carolina tonight, the audience had enough of the obvious bias and demanded with their voices to allow Ron Paul to be heard.
The question had to do with abortion and Dr. Paul, having brought countless babies into the world, was uniquely qualified to answer this question. He said that he considers abortion to be a violent crime, and that all violent crimes are handled at the State level.
This debate was crucial in cementing Ron Paul’s appeal to every American. In the instances when he was allowed to speak, he clearly articulated his position as the only candidate who values liberty, freedom and prosperity for all people. Dr. Paul took his opponents to task when necessary, but mainly focused on those Constitutional values that have rocketed him into a secure position as the defender of our rights next to a pack of self interested elites and insiders.
